Lease extensions 

If you are an existing customer, please contact us for details of whether your lease can be extended. In general, ReSI Housing Limited and ReSI Homes Limited will be happy to extend your lease to a term of 999 years or the maximum term they are able to grant for a nominal sum of £1.00.

You will, however, be responsible for you own legal fees as well as the following costs:

  • Pre-lease extension inspection
  • Landlord’s legal fees
  • Landlord’s expenses (funder’s consent)

Understanding the lease 

Your solicitor should explain to you the terms of your lease when you purchase. However, if you have any queries during your ownership, please feel free to contact us and we will try to help. However, for technical queries we may have to advise you to take independent legal advice.
